Swan's Island
| Erik on deck as we sail toward Hockamock Head and into the harbor on Swan's Island. The islanders perfer "Swan's Island" with the apostrophe. However despite their efforts to restore the grammatically and historically correct apostrophe, nautical charts and the US Post Office continue to use the apostropheless version, Swans Island. |
